The Star Compass
Planetary Cycle Projector — Navigate by orbital geometry.
How This Works
This calculator uses NASA JPL orbital periods to project forward from your anchor date. The underlying principle: planetary orbits are stable, and markets echo their geometry through collective human attention.
| Cycle | Period | Use Case |
|---|---|---|
| Venus Synodic | 583.92 days | Swing highs/lows, 8-year star building blocks |
| Venus 8-Year | 4,671.36 days | Major secular turns, five-pointed star completion |
| Jupiter-Saturn | 7,212 days | Generational wealth shifts, 60/180-year returns |
| Mercury-Venus | 144 days | Swing confirmation, divine perfection number |
| Mars-Jupiter | ~8,027 days | 22-year secular bull/bear transitions |
Worked Example
Anchor: March 23, 2020 (S&P 500 pandemic low)
Cycle: Venus Synodic × 2 = 1,167.84 days
Projection: June 9, 2023
Actual: S&P 500 consolidated through mid-2023 before the late-year breakout. The cycle marked the decision window, not the direction.
Remember: Always calculate with both options where applicable (sidereal vs synodic). The market chooses which rhythm applies.
